Hard to beat for a 5.1 system at this price point. Very easy to install and setup. Works great in the living room with the Roku Ultra steaming box and my 4 year old LG TV. Replaced a 4 year old LG 5.1 system that decided to die. My other sets are each using a 9 year old Vizio 5.1 system that are still going strong. I'm hoping this unit lasts as long.
The app is great! Better than any soundbar remote that I've ever had. Easy to make the necessary adjustments and tweaks. Took a few days of tweaking to get it just right. Once adjusted it sounds great.

5 star | Incredible value!... Just a couple growing pains

This sound bar is unbelievable value for $200. The installation was quick and easy. The sound is full and punches above its price tag.
Just a couple growing pains:
1. ABSOLUTELY ENSURE you have TruVolume turned 'ON' in the settings. Without this future turned on, some movies sound like you're listening to them underwater. You'll notice the volume is incredibly muffled, and even at 100% max volume the movie audio still doesn't sound right and the volume doesn't get loud. I'm not sure why this is only an issue with some movies or YouTube videos and not all of them. Maybe it's an audio formatting thing. In any case, this issue cost me a couple hours of troubleshooting, but having figured it out, it's no longer an issue for me.
2. Note that the unit does not come with a remote. Audio adjustments (equalizer, TruVolume, surround sound, and AV delay) are performed on your smartphone by downloading the app and signing in with a free Vizio account. I'm happy to do this, but this might turn some people off.
Despite these couple issues (that I no longer consider to be issues), I would 100% recommend this unit!

For the price of what I paid for this- wow! Very impressed about how great this has been.
Had for multiple months now and had very little problems or complaints.
Setting it up takes a little bit of time since it's a 3 piece system but it's legit.
The movie audio is pretty insane.
The surround speakers work and you sound as if you are in the movie theater.
Funny enough - I was watching a basketball game last week and the tv station had some hot mics in the crowd and the speakers in my home were playing the audio so good that I couldn't tell if people were outside my house or on the tv I'd be lying if I didn't worry for a second but then I muted the tv and had a "duh, woah!!" moment.
