“Delivering a zippy experience that's now available in two sizes, the Pixel Watch 3 is well-rounded enough to compete strongly against, and at times come out on top of, other smartwatches. Its laundry list of health features, useful wearOS optimizations, and stellar design make it an excellent option.” --digitaltrends.com--
Pros
- Still a sleek, modern build
- Excellent optimizations within wearOS to take advantage of bigger screens
- Choice of two sizes
- No change to the band attachment mechanism
- Battery life isn't stellar on the smaller 41-millimeter size

@JMB Oakland5 star | Great watch, especially if you have Pixel phone
Reviewed in the United States on December 4, 2024
I was a FitBit fan and when my last one died after only 16 mos, I decided it was probably time to get a Pixel watch, assuming Google is putting more resources into their watch instead of their FitBits. I'm glad I did. It works very seamlessly with my Pixel phone. I like getting texts and emails on the watch, and the ability to use voice commands to tell it to set alarms etc. I'm sure it does even more than I use it for, but it does everything I need it to. I didn't sync with FitBit app and it still counts steps and logs exercise, gives me a nice timer and alarm and lets me know when I have text, WhatsApp, Email coming in without me having to carry my phone around. It looks great, is easy to use and I'm quite happy with it. I'm in my sixties so in case you are on the older site, it's easy to use.

5 star | This watch is amazing!

This review is for the Google Pixel Watch 3 (45mm). I bought it on sale for $330. This is my first smart watch, I didn't know exactly what to expect and wasn't sure if I even wanted or needed one in the first place. The watch was very easy to setup and pair to my google 7a phone. Getting the band attached was tricky at first but the package includes a QR code that leads to a video, once you figure it out it's easy. I have come to love this watch and the Fitbit app. I've been tracking my steps, sleep cycle (very insightful), calories in/out. By default there's around 20+ different watch faces to choose from and then you can customize each one with what and where you want the information to be as well as a large host of color schemes. I'm very pleased with the battery, I've kept most of the screen options on the default and my watch will last for 2 days and it charges shockingly fast.

5 star | Sold my Galaxy Watch Ultra
Reviewed in the United States on October 19, 2024
Sold my Galaxy Watch Ultra for this.
I've tried every major watch out there. Fitbit, Garmin, Apple Watch (when I was briefly within the apple ecosystem), and many different Galaxy Watch series.
This watch is light, comfortable and functional. Battery also lasts more than a day for me.
I use a smartwatch mainly for notifications, and fitness/sleep tracking. I like that this one just seems to.. work, and work seemlessly. This is absolutely the Apple Watch of android. I find it's implementation of WearOS to be less clunky, far more responsive and usable than any of the Galaxy watches I have owned. And I've owned a lot of them.
Integrating with Fitbit, which at first I thought was a dumb idea but now I realize it just makes sense.
As for comfort... Well, I forget I'm wearing it. The Galaxy Watches were definitely not light nor comfortable.
This watch is an easy 5 stars and I believe Google has an excellent watch going here. Doesn't try too hard. Expensive for what it is, but everything it does, it does well.
